About Van's Auctioneers

Legacy of Excellence

Rooted in the best traditions of our proud legacy and abreast of the trading requirements and current technology, we embrace the future confidently with eager expectation and enthusiasm.

The Vans Auctioneers legacy is built on lasting, long-term relationships with our clients, stakeholders, creditors and financial institutions. Our core business values of integrity, product knowledge and innovation drive our commitment to fulfill our clients' auction needs.

Foundation of Values

Our business is continually changing. But, the one thing that will never change is our commitment to maintain the highest ethical standards. Our core values are:

Integrity

We are open, honest and responsible for following through on our commitments.

Knowledge

We encourage continuous development of skills and expertise to better serve our clients.

Innovation

We nurture creative thinking that adds value to our clients.

Service Excellence

Our proven track record includes a wide range of auctions executed successfully.

Our dedicated team takes care of the entire auction process, from attaching the property or goods claimed by creditors, making the property or goods presentable to sell and sorting out advertising and storage to the actual auctioning of the goods and final payments to the creditors. We also assist liquidators and trustees to secure assets of estates by either guarding the properties or by moving the assets to our secure warehouse facilities for safekeeping.

Professionalism

We put our clients at the center of everything we do and we never compromise on our commitment.

We’ve been operating since 1964 and there is virtually nothing that we haven't sold yet! Our commitment to exceptional client service drives our every day business decisions and our people are experts at what they do, working tirelessly to do it better than anyone else. We are accredited and fully compliant with the legal obligations as stipulated by the SA Institute for Auctioneers, the Estate Agency Affairs Board and the Consumer Protection Act.
